- Is the name of the journal changed?
- Yes, we have received a circular from the journal authorities stating the rechristening of the journal to International Journal of Computer Applications in view of the diversified content of their archives.
- Is my paper going to be published in the International Journal of Computer Applications?
- Yes, all the papers that are selected for the ICFCA are being published in the International Journal of Computer Applications. IJCA is launching its maiden issue as an open access digital library journal. All the articles will be readily accessible in the internet. The articles can be cited in any research work.
- Will I be able to cite my paper in my doctoral thesis, masters degree programme or in my portfolio?
- Once your research is endorsed by an international journal such as International Journal of Computer Applications, any researcher can cite the article in their research papers or thesis. IJCA has its own server-based Digital Library which shall be released for the public on February 25, 2010.
- I will not be able to come down to Bangalore. Is there a provision of Absentia presentation?
- In case you are unable to be physically present in the conference site, you can avail of 'Application of Absentia'. Please refer to the section on 'Application of Absentia' for details.
- Is there any special networking event for the student community?
- The students can interact with the researchers. The internship program is only open for the students whose paper(s) is/are selected for the ICFCA conference. Please refer to the 'Internship Programme' page for further details.
- Will ICFCA provide accommodation for the participants?
- No, we are not providing accommodation facilities to the participants.
- What is the publication fees for ICFCA 2010?
- ICFCA charges a fee of USD 42 (INR 2000) towards the publication, indexing
and copyright transfer charges for manuscripts. The authors are granted life-time membership to the elite ICFCA
researchers forum, online library and research collaboration platform.
If the author opts for 'Application of Absentia', the fees shall also include the postal charges of the certifications.
The charges are irrespective of the number of authors. However, ICFCA allows a maximum of 5 authors for each paper. - I have a SME business. And I want to promote my venture in ICFCA. Do ICFCA provides such an opportunity?
- Yes, we do. ICFCA is expecting a large audience for the event. Apart from the official sponsorship programme, ICFCA has a special sponsorship programme for the SME community. All the privately held SME companies are eligible for this programme.
